Telling It Like It Is
A Film About William Utermohlen
Our film "Telling It Like It Is" is currently in post production. The project is an intimate look at the life and work of American born painter William Utermohlen in view of his late Self-Portraits painted after the diagnosis with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Together with his wife Pat we will go on a journey into their past and find out about what is unique about Bill’s late work. This is a story about two unfinished lives, loss and gain and the particular challenges this long term illness brings about.

A Film About Matthias Kaul
Open Wings Productions LLC will follow maverick composer and percussionist Matthias Kaul on his journey through Europe, South Africa and the US.
Critically acclaimed as ‘The most important percussion soloist working in Europe today‘(THE WIRE)
Praised for compositions that are complex and subtly structured, his soundscapes have also been described as a ‘surreal salad’ (TAZ July 20th 2000). We will follow Matthias between the extremes and discover an unconventional mind.
